What We Offer
-
Whether you've been stuttering your whole life or are navigating a new chapter, therapy as an adult is about more than technique. We work on what stuttering actually impacts for you. Together, we build confidence, reduce the impact stuttering has on your daily life, and help you communicate in a way that feels authentic to you. Sessions are tailored to your goals, your life, and where you want to go.
-
School is full of moments that ask a lot of communicators- reading aloud, group discussions, presentations, social conversations. Therapy for school-age kids and teens is designed to meet them where they are: building confidence, reducing avoidance, and helping them feel more in control of their communication. Sessions are collaborative and strengths-based, focused on what your child wants to get out of therapy and supporting the family while doing so.
-
When your child stutters, it can be hard to know what to say, how to help, or whether to bring it up at all. Caregiver coaching gives you the information, tools, and confidence to support your child in a way that keeps their relationship with communication positive. We'll talk through what stuttering actually is, what it isn't, how to respond in the moment, and how to advocate for your child at school and beyond. You don't have to figure this out alone.
Our Process
Start with a Conversation
A free 15-minute call, or an email inquiry if preferred, to talk about what you're noticing and what you're hoping for. Nothing is assessed, and there's no obligation to go further.
Schedule an Evaluation
Nova is currently accepting new clients. The evaluation looks at more than speech — what's built up around it, and what it's actually costing in daily life. You leave with clear answers and a specific recommendation.
Therapy That Fits You
Sessions are collaborative and built around your goals, not a template. What we work on comes from your life: the meeting, the classroom, the phone call, the dinner table.
Beyond the Session
What matters is what happens outside the therapy hour. The aim is confident communication that holds up in real life — and eventually, not needing me.
